HOW DO I WORK?

I believe that at the heart of successful counselling therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist, and this is strongly evidenced in research.

I offer the opportunity to work collaboratively, listening and supporting you to tell the story of what has brought you to counselling therapy. Together we will explore the emotions, thoughts, feelings, beliefs and physical responses that story contains. The way we explore depends on what is most helpful to you. For some it will be talking, others may like to work more creatively, using metaphor, art, writing, or music.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I bring a thoughtful and knowledgeable blend of theoretical approaches into my work. The theoretical approaches which influence my work include Person Centred Therapy, Existential Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Narrative Therapy.

WHO DO I WORK WITH?

I work with a range of life events, with a particular interest and knowledge of supporting anyone experiencing grief and loss.
